Insurance Excesses: |
In spite of CDW included, in the case of an accident the client shall pay the following excess: |
Groups A, B & C - € 500 |
Groups F, F1, J & S - € 1500 |
All Other Groups - € 1000 |
If the Hirer wish's to eliminate this excess, the hirer should pay Super CDW insurance at the following rates:- |
Groups A, B & C - € 7.50 Per day |
Groups F, F1, J & S - € 12.50 Per day |
All Other Groups - € 10.00 Per day |
Super CDW is to be paid by the client directly when receiving the vehicle upon commencement of rental. Super CDW is only available for rentals of more than one week. |
Important Notes: |
A FULL driving licence must be produced upon signing of the rental agreement by each driver, who must have held their licence for a minimum of one year and must be at least 23 years of age. |
In the event of an accident where the driver has been drinking alcohol, in accordance with Portuguese law, the driver shall be required to pay the full cost of any damage incurred. |
